Wendy was born and grew up in Battersea South West London. The time when Beatlemania and Twiggy Harold Wilson and even Her Majesty wore shorter hemlines! She had a fun and happy time. Art has always been a big influence on her and as a child she was always painting, drawing, or making something. Unfortunately it took a back seat when she got married and had a young family, but now they have flown the Nest she has time to Paint with Gusto.

About Wendy Puerto Paintings:

She paints in a loose impressionist style,usually in Acrylics,it is a medium that allows her to paint quickly and is so versatile,it can create soft muted tones to thick vibrant statements as used in some of my Sunset Paintings. Acrylic is on par with Oil works and just as collectable. She is a prolific Artist If she feels the urge she will start a piece of work and find it almost finished in one session without realizing so much time has passed. Sunsets and Seascapes are a real favourite with her,she likes to create something she is proud of and would hang on her own wall,that way she seems to find the right approach to produce some eyecatching Pieces of expressive Contemporary Art. She paints from the imagination mostly and some of her skies can be very dramatic.
