The guitar is typically a six stringed instrument that makes sound by plucking with either a pick, or by hand. The word guitar is used to refer to a number of instruments that were developed and used across Europe. The original design was meant to be an Acoustic guitar, but after time -as musicians got bigger audiences- guitar players needed a new way to reach the masses. With the renovation of amps and tech, the Electric Guitar came fully loaded with pickups, tremolo arms(or whammy bars) and output connectors, it was fully capable to connect to amps, crank up the volume, and wow the world. The Bass, the intercessor of the guitar family has probably the most eventful life, seeing that it was around about the time of the acoustic's spawning and was later outfitted with the electric's gear.
