Greenblatt is the creator of Chowder, Greenblatt also voices as Kimchi, Chowder's pet. Greenblatt also drew story boards for Nick's Spongebob, and worked on The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy by doing story boards and voicing Fred Fredburger. C.H. Greenblatt appeared in the Nick Mag April 2008 issue in a comic he wrote about his life, and how he developed Chowder. edit Biography C.H. Greenblatt was born on June 17, 1972. Even at a young age, Greenblatt loved cartoons. He especially loved puppets. His favorite shows were Sesame Street and The Muppet Show. In the sixth grade, C.H. Greenblatt started a comic strip called "Zibbler." Later on, Greenblatt did a comic for his school newspaper called "Durbingle the Goat Boy." In the beginning of his art career, he worked as an art director in the advertising field. When he saw that Nickelodeon was looking for cartoon artists, Greenblatt mailed in his earlier comics and got a job as a storyboard artist for SpongeBob SquarePants. After Greenblatt worked for Nick, he got a job on The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and even got to voice Fred Fredburger. But, eventually, C.H. Greenblatt wanted to start his own show, Chowder. He put together a 10-page packet about his idea for a cartoon, and gave it to some TV executives. They liked his idea, which went into production and began airing on Cartoon Network. The rest, as they say, is history!
