Valentine's Dance

Thursday 2/11, 6:30 to 9:30 pm in the gym

Ticket Price: $5 pre-sale, $7 at the door; tickets will be sold at lunch and in Room 213.
There will be food and a live DJ.

Parents: Chaperones will be needed! You must be there from 6:15 to 10 pm.
Also needed are food, drinks and decorations.

Summer Jobs

Available through City of Richmond YouthWORKS (pdf). You must be 15 to 22 years of age and a resident of Richmond.

East Bay Regional Park District employment, especially Summer Jobs for Students and Seniors. Application deadline January 29 5 p.m. for returnees, February 17, 5 p.m. for new applicants.

Cal Grants Workshops

Juniors and Seniors headed to college: be sure to attend a California Cash for College Workshop in a city near you. These workshops will be held in various locations during the months of January and February.

Scholarship Opportunity: Feb 15 deadline

The Best Buy @15 Scholarship Program will be awarding 1,000 scholarships of $1,000 each to students in grades 9-12 living in the US or Puerto Rico who plan to enter a full-time undergraduate course of study upon high school graduation. Other scholarships and contests are announced at the same website.
