  • Ensures that tax filings and budgets are done properly
  • Tracks money spent on high school and produces reports for high school
  • Tracks money collected by various sources
  • Approves budgets for each Peacekey director
  • Makes deposits, withdrawals, writes checks, handles cash, etc.

  • Assumes role of President when needed

  • -- Director of Curriculum
    The Curriculum Director is responsible for overseeing that all high school curriculum adequately reflect the Peacekey pillars of authenticity, engagement, and connection. In this context, "curriculum" refers to both the overt currciculum that is taught in each of the classes, but it also refers to the "hidden curriculum" that is taught to students in the structures and relationshiops that are set up in the school. Specific duties of the curriculum director include:
  • working with high school staff to hire qualified teachers and staff members
  • train/facilitate conversations with teachers and staff members to ensure that the teachers have a cohesive understanding of the pillars
  • helping the youth director create youth events that foster the pillars
  • conducting curriculum reviews to ensure that Peacekey curricular standards are being met

  • Designs and updates Peacekey website
  • Designs WCCHS website and trains parents on use
  • Manages web development team
  • -- Director of Aesthetics
  • Oversees development of logos, web designs, and other artwork for Peacekey and Peacekey promotional materials
  • Adds aesthetics to Peacekey and WCCHS documentation
  • Works with youths to create artistic projects when possible
  • Advocates for art education for the board
