WCCHS is the first school created in conjunction with peacekey. It is fighting for its survival as the WCCUSD district has indicated that it may not renew its charter. Please join us in supporting this young struggling charter school which has been, for many kids, the first place they ever felt included and safe, has graduated many students who were the first in their families to get a diploma. Our mission is to empower school communities to support their students in feeling safe and connected at their schools. For that purpose, we seek to provide educational skills that include social-emotional learning and opportunities to develop conflict-resolution and self-advocacy skills. Peacekey provides consultancy and evaluation services to ensure students are developing leadership skills in an open environment, free of oppression from peers and authority figures.
Peacekey provides professional support and expertise so that communities can create small, safe schools unlike any other, based on the principles of engagement, authenticity, and connection.
